  Public Service
Public service is a noble cause but there needs to be one thing that those in it need to understand. That should not be your only job in life or you loose perspective. If you are not in other careers you loose the perspective of those outside of government. The Founders all had careers before they served and I believe that they expected those who followed them to live that way also. Go to serve whether in Washington or the state capitols but then go home and live under the laws you made.

We have a whole class in our government that lives there and stays there and does not have to live under their own laws. On top of that they have built a bureaucracy that is huge and separated from society as a whole. Therefore they are out of touch with the normal citizen. We need to have people willing to serve but only for a certain amount of time but then move on.

  Not without a fight
I hate to say it but I am like most Americans who think this country is headed down the tubes. I think I might be wrong, I have based this judgment on what I see on TV but I have to realize that this is only a small perspective on things. The Liberal, non-Christian Left is trying to change our belief system and demoralize us in to thinking that we as a country are sliding. They want us to think that the only way to succeed is to succumb to the authority of the Left or even better yet the UN. They know everything and the State is going to do it all for us.

I believe that is just all wrong! I also believe that most Americans believe that it is wrong also. The State is not the Savior, Jesus Christ is our Savior. We need to realize that no matter how bad things get or how crazy it seems on the TV or even in the world around us he is in control. He will not let us be harmed but the Devil’s schemes in ways we can not bear. He is our Rock and Provider! Not the State not the UN.

We are not a Godless country; we were founded on Christian principle and have had them even up until today. We as a country go up and down just like a believer’s walk is not always up, up, up. We have valleys and we have mountain top experiences. I believe as a nation after 9/11 we had a mountain top experience but we have been slipping into a valley because of carefree attitude. We must not let the Godless lull us to sleep and allow them to be victorious but we must stand up and fight for our rights.

  The New Crusades
We are not at war in Iraq or Afghanistan; we as “Christian” Nation are at war with Islam and Islamic Nations through out the world. We have in a sense started a new crusade. We have taken the fight to them and are trying to stop the spread of Islam and especially Radical Fundamentalist Islam. A thousand years ago we took the fight to them and held Israel for hundreds of years and stopped the advance of Islam. We can do it again.

We need to learn from the Cold War though. We tried to root out communism where ever it stuck out is ugly head, both here and abroad. But we have allowed Radical Islam and Islam as a whole gain a huge foothold in our country. We allow them to dictate how we speak, how we do business and even how we live our lives. That is wrong, this is a Christian Nation founded on Christian principles!

Have we become so dead or so subdued by liberalism and political correctness that we have forgotten how to fight? We fought a great and heroic war against Nazi and Japanese aggression but have we have forgotten how to fight? Have we have lost our will? I do not think so down in the hearts of most of the USA we still have it in us to defeat this enemy not only to our country but our way of life and our country!

  Islamic Law???
As a Christian I am not sure I really like the idea that Iraqi law must conform to Islamic Law. I was reading the report that said that the draft had included the language that all laws in Iraq must conform to Islamic law. The laws that make women property and furthers Jihad against infidels.
I would much rather have secular laws and its constitution state that are Islamic rather than the laws "must" conform to Islamic law.

Stand up and declare your allegiance
I am so sick and tired of the media and some (not all) in the left wing giving aid and comfort to the enemy under the name of “Free Speech”. 60 years ago in WWII this would be called treason and those responsible would be imprisoned or executed. But today the media and those in it and many out there can blast our country and defile our president, flag and reputation and get away with it. They can endanger our troops, embolden our enemy and break our moral and call it free speech. That is just morally wrong. Americans need to stand up and say it is wrong and fight against it. We need to realize that we are in a war! The enemy is not as defined as WWII as in Germany and Japan but it is still an enemy that wants us dead, our way of life destroyed and power to rule the world. We are at WAR not just in Iraq and Afghanistan and around the world. We need to stand up and declare our allegiance to the United States of America! And if you can not declare that allegiance then move to our enemies countries or to their willing accomplices in France and Germany!
